Description Handheld refractometers HRB90 Model
The HRB90 is a versatile handheld refractometer for applications in which different media and widely varying Brix values need to be measured reliably. While the standard handheld refractometers in the KRÜSS Optronic HR series cover a specific measurement range, the HRB90 offers a measurement range that is three times larger. This makes this special handheld refractometer ideal for manufacturers who test multiple products or liquids with different concentrations.
- Scale: Brix (with thermometer 6-36°C), measurement range: 0-90%Brix, measurement accuracy: ±0.2%Brix

HRB90 Handheld refractometers – Advanced optics for large measurement ranges
The large measurement range of the HRB90 requires a complex optical design that goes beyond the standard optics of conventional handheld refractometers. With its special optics, the HRB90 is able to precisely image wide measurement ranges.
The HRB90 is ideal for companies that test different media or changing concentrations with different BRIX values – without having to purchase several specialized refractometers.

- Cooling lubricants prevent the machine and workpiece from overheating when machining materials. Their concentration must be checked regularly – usually by Brix measurement.
